On the “winds of fertility”

Nature, which moves, flows and lives to the rhythm of the four seasons, quietly repeats its rebirth, even if times and people change. When the wind blows across the land and my heart is moved, the colors accumulated over years of memorization and sketching begin to move as if in a great swell.

My paintings were delivered to the “Monaka” shopping center, which was completed in downtown Morioka this summer. The shopping center is a model for a more compact, functional and relaxed urban environment, which is the challenge of the cities of the future. If art and play coexist in everyday civic life and create a place for intergenerational communication, this is what the city of tomorrow will look like.

I realized this work in the hope that a “wind of fertility” would blow over Morioka, which is also the starting point for my art.
